How
Action for Life is an experience-based leadership programme where participants explore their lives for a deeper self-awareness and develop their skills for initiatives and outreach. It involves constant learning by doing:
practising the discipline of silence and inner listening in our daily lives, and learning to live core values of honesty, purity, selflessness and love
sharing one’s experiences of transformation and spiritual growth, and being alongside individuals taking their first steps of personal and community transformation
organising and facilitating presentations and workshops in schools, colleges and communities, using music and drama
face-to-face meetings with people involved in such areas as education, politics, human rights, environment, poverty reduction and tackling corruption, in order to understand the real issues and what it takes to bring necessary change
cross-cultural encounters in a wide range of cities, communities, villages, industries, educational institutions and homes
studying the roots of conflict through the experience of those struggling with such situations, and seeking how to introduce the dynamics of personal and collective healing
