Two Congolese women who had been participants in the Creators of Peace international conference in Uganda in 2005, and participants in conferences at the international conference centre of IofC in Caux, Switzerland, passed away in the same week in April this year. Danielle Maillefer, representative of the International Association of Initiatives of Change in Geneva, who had known them both over many years, from the time she was posted in the Democratic Republic of the Congo with UNICEF, sent this tribute. 25 May 2007
