Follow-up
Follow-up is an essential part of the work of F4F, and includes one-to-one correspondence, visits, a quarterly newsletter, and an active regional email listserv. During follow-up, special attention is given to encouraging the confidence and spiritual development of individuals, within the framework of each person¹s belief system.

International events and meetings are designed to provide further training and networking opportunities, fostering cooperation within the region and internationally. In addition, skills training is available and F4F is currently training Eastern Europeans to lead the courses, thereby enabling the courses to be run by local people in their own language.

Since September 1995 F4F has invited young adults to work with the programme and gain experience. Participants get a chance to enhance their abilities to give leadership when they return.

Plans are now underway to:

  • Move much of the responsibility for co-ordination and organisation of this programme to the teams in Central and Eastern Europe.

  • Enhance follow-up into a more structured programme.
