The Trustbuilding Program advancing SDG16

The Trustbuilding Program (TBP), launched in 2019 by IofCI and The Fetzer Institute, advances SDG16 by fostering peace, justice, and inclusion. With 12 projects on four continents, TBP has engaged 16,278 people, trained 3,103 leaders, and contributed 46,942 volunteer hours. Key efforts include reconciliation in Australia, ethnic harmony in Burundi, and interfaith dialogue in Indonesia. TBP plans to expand further, enhancing its global impact on peaceful, just, and inclusive societies.

A successful Training of Trustbuilding Trainers

A successful Training of Trainers took place at Caux. Over four days, the nine trustbuilding teams developed their skills by engaging in practical exercises and deep sharing. The training included various activities from the TBP Training Manual, and participants returned home with an action plan to implement. Participation created a feeling of a true global TBP team with a shared purpose and practice, leading to regional collaborations.
