Early in 2016, Harry Månsus, an author and Baptist pastor, initiated an idea to arrange a weekend event in Stockholm to profile the work of IofC. After a visit to Caux, IofC’s world conference centre in Switzerland, Månsus and his wife Lea concluded that the impact of IofC on the life of Scandinavia was underrated and he wanted to profile IofC in a new light.

First Creators of Peace Circle in Sri Lanka

The first two Creators of Peace Circles in Sri Lanka took place in the Northern Province in the first two weeks of September 2016. The ground for these Circles was prepared by two Sri Lankans, Shashika and Wimarshana, who have been trained over the past two years in India through working with the programme IfL (Initiatives of Change for Life). They returned to Sri Lanka in July to work for the healing and reconciliation of their war–affected country.

Dr Robert Chen, Haridas and Patrick Santa Maria took on the challenging task of conducting the Creators of Peace session for men - one of the first times that such a programme was conducted for men!
